Kevin Lin, Vice President of Sales ASUSTeK’s Department confirmed today that the second-generation PCs will also EeeĀ pc 8.9-inch touch-screen panel. Some systems can also support for GPS navigation, Lin added, which also noted that the local price for the systems is expected to reach 500 dollars. The 8.9-inch Eee PCs will adopt Intel’s low-cost notebook platform, up to 1 GB of memory and upgraded SSD drives up to 12GB. Reports indicate that the next generation Eee PC may become available in May or June.
